The role of our Board of Directors is to act as a guardian for the solicitation, management, and distribution of funds collected by Lighting Up the Sky for the purpose of reaching the organization's goals. As a starting point, LUTS has a "working" Board. All of our Directors, listed below, also serve as committee leaders.
Melissa Schilling manages our special programs. She moves at approximately four thousand miles per hour and keeps the entire team motivated on a daily basis.
Marivel Silva shepherds LUTS toward a greater level of organization. She keeps everyone’s attention and focus on the big picture, ensuring goals are set and met consistently.
Alicia Streight provides LUTS with the ability to put our objectives into practice with her incredibly creative and organized fundraising efforts. Her calm and steady leadership inspires the team to work as hard as she does.
Dawn Sebock makes sure that we aren't operating in a vacuum. As the head of marketing and public relations, she connects the team with the outside world through limitless avenues.
Elizabeth Marley guides LUTS toward THRIVE-ability. She keeps the organization tuned in to every available option for building sustainable components into our projects and plans.
